On arrival in Kathmandu meet our staff for transfer to hotel

Arrival Day; Namaste! Welcome to Nepal.  Our staff will receive you from Airport and take you to your hotel. He will give you little idea about what to do. Kathmandu, the colourful capital of Nepal, is a fascinating blend of traditional architecture and symbols of the 20th Century. Its rich artistic and cultural heritage is evident where ornately carved balconies mingle with beautiful shrines and temples. If you arrive early we recommend you check out Durbar Square with its temples, markets and busy atmosphere. It is also worth the climb to visit the Swayambhunath – the ‘monkey temple’. Explore the network of street markets and alley bazaars and Pashupatinath. For those with a few extra days in Kathmandu, the neighbouring towns of Patan and Bhaktapur are well worth a visit. However we will do sightseeing next day.

Sightseeing; , After breakfast depart from the hotel where our city guide leads you for Unesco world heritage sites ex. Kathmandu Durbar Square, Syambhunath Stupa , Bouddhanath Stupa with holy Pashupatinath Temple of Hindu religion and then back to hotel with time for trek preparations next early morning.

Drive to Jagat (1,300 m) via Besisahar – 09 hrs

Drive to Jagat; This morning, drive to Besisahar (approximately 5.5 hours) to immediately immerse yourself in the spectacular mountain wilderness that encompasses the Annapurna Range. At 8,091 m, Annapurna 1 is one of the highest mountains in the world. It’s surrounding sister mountains are equally imposing, creating magnificent panoramas from any viewpoint. Throughout this trip’s trekking you’ll come across isolated mountain communities, each with different ancestral customs and traditions, meaning a visually and culturally memorable expedition. You’ll meet warm and welcoming locals herding yaks and goats on the grassy pastures and visit their monasteries and temples, pass waterfalls of melted snow, cross icy rivers, walk along broad plains and hike up high mountain passes. When you arrive in Besisahar, you might have lunch following the local jeep/bus drive to Jagat.

Trek to Bagarchhap (2160 m) – 08 hours.

Trek to Bagarchhap; Begin of challenging trekking in one of the highest mountain ranges on Earth. Experience stunning Alpine pastures, forests of rhododendron, temples, rural villages and local people, waterfalls, glaciers, and some of the most spectacular mountain scenery known to man.

For almost 2 weeks, we immerse ourselves into the spectacular mountain wilderness of the Annapurna Range. Along the way, we see waterfalls of melted snow, cross icy rivers, broad plains, and high mountain passes and reward ourselves with a soak in natural hot springs (you’ve earned this!). The trekking is challenging, averaging 6-7 hrs a day, often at high altitudes. The highest point we reach, is the 5,416m (17,769ft) Thorang Pass.

Given the dangers of altitude sickness, it is imperative that we take at least 3 days to ascend to this height. A couple of days are also allowed for rest and acclimatization.

Trek to Chame (2,670 m) – 06 hours

Trek to Chame; slowly walk leads to more Buddhist cultural areas at Bagarchap-Danaque and Timang. From Timang with possible tea breaks overlooking mountain views, As air gets cooler walking into nice forested areas of tall rhododendron-pines and fir tree lines with views of snow capped peaks of Manaslu-Lamjung and Annapurna. Afternoon walk leads near Marysangdi River and into cool shade of alpine woods to reach at Chame for overnight stay, headquarter and administrative town of Manang districts.

Trek to Pisang (3, 230 m) – 06 hrs.

Trek to Pisang ; The next day, in the morning, we will spend some time enjoying the mesmerizing sight of glowing Lamjung Himal (6893m) and move crossing large suspension bridge along Marshyangdi. We then traverse houses and lodges on the northern side of the river and mender through barley field towards Taleku (2720m). Ahead, after undulating mountain passes, we enter an interesting apple orchard close to a bridge and the pristine hemlet of Bratang across. Historically, it used to be Khampa settlement place and a stone memorial of a Japanese Climber has been built in this place.
Moving further from forested village the valley turns into a gentle U-shape and beautiful Annapurna range rears up. Ahead, we again pass through steep rock-strewn trails to the south side to cross long suspension bridge at 3040 meters high. The vantage point allows viewing Paungda Dang rock rising more the 1500 meters from the river. Furthermore, towards Pisang we will have an opportunity to capture splendid views of Annapurna II high on the east and Pisang Peak on the north-east

Trek to Manang Village (3,450 m) – 05 hrs

Trek to Manang Village; From Pasang to Manang through steep ridge and take pleasure our trek continues towards the beautiful sights of the Manang Valley and Tilicho peak. Before Manang, we descend through Manang’s airstrip and arrive at Humde lying under the massive Annapurna III on the north-east face. We reached ahead at wide plant of the Sabje Khola Valley where we can see the beautiful view of Annapurna IV (7525m). Advancing on we cross over a gushing Marsyangdi Khola on wooden bridge and enter a beautiful village of Mungji. Further treading we leave behind some cultivated fields and reach impressive monastery of Bryaga village. Finally, before we land at Manang we enjoy the majestic view of the Annapurna range – Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Gangapurna (7455m) and Tilicho Peak (7134m).

Rest day at Manang for local hikes and acclimatization.

Rest day at Manang for local hikes and acclimatization;  Spend a day here to acclimatise to the altitude by doing some high climbing then return to the lower altitude of Manang to sleep. Manang, a village of about 500 flat-roofed houses offers excellent views of Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Tilicho and Chulu East. You will definitely enjoy one more/extra day here.

Trek to Yak Kharka (4,018 m) – 04hours.

Trek to Yak Kharka ; With enjoyable stop at Manang village, today a short walks of 4 hours to Yak Kharka, pasture land for yaks, a small settlement, actually a summer pasture and grazing fields of Yaks and other cattle’s, morning leads to a slow uphill on wider trail facing views of Gangapurna-Annapurna II – III with Chulu peaks. After a great scenic walks reaching at Yak Kharka for overnight and lunch stop with time in the afternoon for rest and short walks on this peaceful environment with views of mountains.

Trek to ThorangPhedi (4,450 m) – 04 hrs

Trek to ThorangPhedi; as we leave ThorangPhedi the trail steadily climbs to the edge to a suspension bridge to reach lader, ways stills steadily climbs to the other edge and then descends to the headwaters of the Marshyandgi. We cross the River via a covered wooden bridge and ascent for a while up the mountain path on the right bank. Finally, a narrow trail crosses an unstable steep slope and descends to the Thorang Phedi.

Cross Thorang-La (5,416 m) and to Muktinath 3,800 m – 09 hrs

 Trek to Muktinath via Thorang pass; this is a tougher uphill day walking up to High pass and down to Muktinath. Keep a slow steady pace and enjoy the views while hiking to overcome the altitude of 5416m.

Trek to Marpha (2, 670 m) via Jomsom (2, 715 m)- 07 hours.

Trek to Marpha; From Muktinath rest of the trek is much easier on gradual and downhill walks with drop of 1,200 m to reach Kaligandaki river valley, from the valley floor walk on windswept Kaligandaki river valley to reach at Jomsom, headquarter of Mustang district with a small an airstrip on the shelf of Kaligandaki River. With refreshing stop, walk continues further for an hour with windy afternoon to reach Marpha, one of the charming villages in Himalaya region, houses here whitewashed with neat stone paved streets and well kept fine lodges, shops and stores. Marpha and Kaligandaki areas, famous for delicious apple and fine products cider, brandy and juice a lovely village to explore around.

Trek to Kalopani (2,530m) – 07 hrs.

Trek to Kalopani; From Marpha onward, walk leads following Kaligandaki River downstream to reach at Tukuche village, beneath Tukuche peak, Dhaulagiri and Mt. Nilgiris with views of Dhaulagiri icefalls. After Tukuche to Larjung village, and then on wide river bed, walk either way over temporary plank bridges of numerous channel when river level is low, or walk over a high suspension bridge, after an hour walk back into forest of pines, oaks and rhododendron. Our route lead away from the river for a while to reach Kalapani, beautiful village.

Trek to Tatopani (1,190m) – 07 hrs.

Trek to Tatopani; The descent to Tatopani, where is natural hot springs, follows the narrow valley, though one of the world’s deepest river gorges, past the beautiful Rupse Chaharo waterfall, with fantastic views along the way. Take a dip at hot spring with the sound of the river rushing below and starts above.

Trek to Sikha (1935m) – 4 hrs.

Trek to Sikha; Climb a stairway of stone steps and cross a suspension bridge. Reach a mesmerizing view of ascending levels of teahouses and lodges with the different mountains surrounding. Today’s hike will be 4 hours.

Trek to Ghorepani (2,750 m) – 04 hrs

Trek to Ghorepani; Continuing down the last part of the trail then has you climbing again through rhododendron and magnolia forests to Ghorepani. One of the biggest villages in the area, the views of the Himalayas from here are amazing. You may see Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayas on a clear day. Dhaulagiri I, II, III, IV, V, Tukuche, Dhampus, Nilgiri, Annapurna South, Barah Sikhar, are some of the major peaks seen from here. As well as you might encounter wild animals inside forests.

Trek to Ramghai, Mathathati (1,200m) – 07 hrs.

Trek to Ramghai, Mathathati; this is the day to Poonhill for sunrise and panoramic mountains views, then we will trek down though rainforest and all the way down to home.

Trek to Nayapul (1,070m) and drive to Pokhara (820m)

Trek to Nayapul; today we do a short trek about one and half hour to Nayapul though Birethanti from where we will check out from Annapurna Conservation Area. From Nayapul we will drive to Beautiful city Pokhara.

Free day at Pokhara

Free day at Pokhara; Enjoy a free day in Pokhara to unwind, relax, and give those muscles a rest after all that trekking. Your leader can advise you of sightseeing opportunities. It is worth taking a boat for a row out on the lake, especially if the weather’s fine. The lakeside area has great shopping opportunities and internet cafes. Pokhara has an interesting old area as well as an elaborate Hindu temple and a Buddhist monastery. Perhaps visit the Peace Pagoda, where spectacular views of the mountains await. You can see the Annapurnas from here, and the famous fishtail peak, Machhapuchhere, and back across to Pokhara. You will also visit the fascinating International Mountain Museum to learn some amazing tales of past climbing expeditions.

Drive to Kathmandu

Drive to Kathmandu; we will back to Kathmandu after finishing our beautiful trek by our private vehicle. This day we will have farewell dinner together.
